Happy Sunday!
Been a busy week, and I have a Wall hanging made from Metal, Chipboard and
Embellishments I just recently started to do!

This is tan - looks like antique and you can get this
metal wall hanging from Scrapbook.com

I used .48pt chipboard and covered it with
textured cardstock from Doodlebug Design.
Each (total of 4) are covered with Olive Color Cardstock
and I put in a large flower to match the cardstock.  I used burlap
to cover the metal hanger. (This will protect your walls).

As you can see from the second photo - the word "love"
is metal, and I used Gingham brown ribbon (using a bow maker)-
this makes the whole unit.  Other says was also from Scrapbook.com!

Thank you and you can see the finished product at

Thank you and Happy Sunday!

New Disney Say Cheese II Scrapbook!

Wednesday, March 18, 2015

Hello, here is a little project that I have been working on. This is a new Disney Scrapbook using the "Say Cheese Collection II from Simple Stories."

I love the new products from Simple Stories. This book can hold up to 40 regular size photos. I made a lot of cute little handmade pockets, and tags that will hold pictures.

What you can do is cover your tag with cardstock and then punch holes (line up) with the rings. This way you can hold either one large or two small prints.

As you can see from the photos - look at the new Disney Clips. These come in a package of a wide variety. They are so cute and sturdy. They run around $5.79 for a package. Check them out at Scrapbooks.com

That's all and see you Disney Fans tomorrow.  I am working on a new line for a Boy or Girl Birthday Party.

Thanks

Baby Girl Onesie Chipboard Album

Sunday, March 15, 2015

Hello this is one of my albums that I finished this week. It is a big seller in my store.  I put a lot of lace and chipboard buttons to make this stand out.

I also love the dark pink flower ribbon that was used to bring out the colors of the cardstock.

All of the photo mats - match the papers used. I love to use chipboard embellishments for all of my books.  The premade pockets work great, especially since the book has limited space.

The waterfall photo mats holds "2" pictures each. Just with these two you can put "22" pictures in. I love to use these on all of my books - especially when you need room to put your pictures in.  All of my papers are acid and lignin free.  Only used adhesive tape on your photos. Never use tape. This can cause damage to your photos overtime or even fade them.

Cute Little Brag School Book for Parents or Grandparents

Monday, March 9, 2015

Hello everyone!  Today I am showing my new little 4.5 x 5.5 School Brag Book

Love the colors on this - I used the new line of Textured Cardstock from Doodlebug Designs.  The book has a bind on it made from Chipboard.  I used a lot of different School Embellishments to this little book.  On the front cover you have a Handmade Tag - with School paper and a Red Metal Circle with a Puffed Yellow Star.

On the inside you have "3" Handmade Pockets with "Premade Ready to Use Photo Mats."
It also has a tie closure.

How cute. Look at all of the bright colors in this book.  My son has fun putting his pictures of him and his friends in his books.

Our Little Lady Mini Album - New Echo Park Baby Collection

Thursday, March 5, 2015

Hello everyone!  I am so excited today to show you the new "Our Little Lady" Mini Album that measures 4.75 x 8 using the new line from "Echo Park."  These items can be purchased at Scrapbooks.com.

Our Little Lady

The first layer of Cardstock is from the New Doodlebug Textured Cardstock Line. The paper is Dark Strawberry in color.  Next you have the New Echo Park Baby Girl 12 x 12 Paper with buttons.  I made a Handmade Drawn Large Tag and adhered it to the book.  This book has a hard wood cover and spine. So it will not come apart.  The papers are secured with a hard adhesive and glue dots.  The book has a tie closure with ribbon that matches the cardstock from Echo Park.

On the cover as you can see I punched out a White Scalloped Circle using papers from American Crafts.  In the middle you have the New Echo Park Baby Girl Embellishments and Flowers, along with buttons that match the buttons on the cardstock.  You could adhere as many ribbons as you like.

Here is the inside - the papers are from the 6 x 6 Paper Pad from Echo Park. This cute little book or brag book for grandparents can hold 21 or more photos. It has a handmade pocket under the waterfall on the left hand side.  You have puffed marshmallow corner tabs, border, and heart.

I also used felt flowers that match the cardstock and here you can see the puffed white border and heart. It adds to the book!

I love this line.  The chipboard embellishments match the papers. You can see her the "LOVE" Tag matches the cardstock used for the photo mat on the bottom. I adhered a chipboard tag from using the Echo Park II Baby line and a matching brad.

Happy Tuesday

Tuesday, March 3, 2015

Hello everyone and today I am bringing you some more of my Disney albums from the Say Cheese II collection.  These albums that measure 5.5 x 8 make cute gifts for a child - and allows them to be creative with their own pictures!

From this photo - you can see the picture frame - that is chipboard for the Say Cheese II collection.  You don't really need to put this picture frame around a photo - be creative and put it around another embellishment.

As you can see, this is the inside of the book.  The waterfall is very easy and simple to make.  I will be back later on with a tutorial on how to make a waterfall.  These can hold "2" pictures. That is front and back. So here on one side 14 pictures can be added.  Be sure to only use acid free adhesives for your photos.  On the other side you see another Chipboard frame from the Simple Stories collection.  I created an inside pocket and make premade photo mats.  This little album can hold up to 22 photos.

Thank you for joining me and looking at my new blog.
Come visit me at danne1231@WebstorePlace.com to see a whole collection of my Disney Albums.
Spring Break and Summer is closing in.

New Disney Say Cheese Collection II

Monday, March 2, 2015

Hello everyone!  Today I am bringing you something new and fun. Simple Stories has the new Say Cheese Collection II with foil.  The new designs has Chipboard Frames, New Chipboard Embellishments, Paper and more.  The designs are so fun and cute.

As you can see the new Say Cheese II frames add something more to this Disney Gift Set. The two books are part of the set in my store. The both of them together will hold up to 54 Photos.  They are so cute and fun and some of the Say Cheese Collection items are being discontinued.

Here is my other book I finished up today and put up on my store. This is another Disney gift set that comes with "2" Disney Albums. The Chipboard frames from the Say Cheese II collection adds more to the front page.

This is the second book to the set. I love the "Minnie Flowers" they are big and fun. I love using button brads from McQueen & Company.

Mini School Album What a Great Kid!

Saturday, February 28, 2015

Hello and good day to everyone!  Today I would like to show you my little School Days Album that I just finished for a customer.

Mini School Album

As you can see from the front cover I used matching textured cardstock from American Crafts and Doodlebug Designs.  Incorporated a few of my favorite chipboard embellishments that she wanted for her son.  The star was handmade - using a pattern.  To do this cut out the pattern on chipboard - then adhere your favorite cardstock - then put glue dots on the back to hold the chipboard piece in place.  Be careful - if you  decide you don't like where you put the piece, it will tear the paper.  I always layout before I adhere my glue dots!

This is a much closer image of the Star and the Field Trip Sign that was made using chipboard and matching papers.

This is something I recently found out.  At Walmart - you can now print off 4x4 photos. The photos are 4x4 and you have the whole picture in tact. Using this size will allow you to fill up a small mini album.

My customer wanted the waterfall effect for her school album - you can put photos on both sides and you can adhere ribbon to close the album.  On the binds - are chipboard crayons - same concept make them and cut them out. This saves money buying chipboard embellishments!!

If you notice look at the corners and how they are folded to look like the inside of a book.  The papers are protected and will not come loose.

This is what I love about American Craft cardstock - see the woven paper. It is soft, easy to apply photos, and it lasts.  I adhered a label at the top to write the dates of events.

The final page of the waterfall has a cute pocket I made out of cards.  Take cards and adhere your adhesive around both sides and the bottom.  I adhere glue dots at all corners so the pocket will not expand. Don't over load pockets with photos - remember it is only cardstock.  Limit 4 photos on photo mats for your pockets.

Thank you and enjoy and see you tomorrow for a step by step tutorial on how to make a hard bind cover book from wood and cardstock.

Tiny Toes Baby Girl Album

Friday, February 27, 2015

Hello everyone!
Here is one of my albums I did yesterday and just finished up today.
I love the cover on this album - and the large Fuchsia Pink ribbon I made to
coordinate with it.

Tiny Toes Album

I used chipboard and coordinating papers by Pebbles, Doodlebug,
and Bella Blvd.  The center is hand-made and the scalloped circle
is from American Crafts Cardstock.  Embellishment by the Pebbles Collection.

Inside you will see handmade pockets - along with Premade Photo Mats.
All of the photo mats will hold a regular photo.  The handmade jumper
was from a friend who designs and does watercolors.  This added
the right touch!  The premade photo mats are made from
textured cardstock from Doodlebug Designs.

Every book I make has journaling cards inside.  If you are making one for a gift
put as many in as possible. I have made "27" of my own 12x12 albums for my two
sons, and this is something you can pass down and preserve it in a Satin bag (I use
wedding bags with a drawstring).

Here are some more journaling cards - along with Premade Photo Textured
Photo Mats - American Crafts and Doodlebug Design, and Bella Blvd.

The last few pages you will see different shapes and this gives
the album the final touch.  I use fine quality items for my albums.

Thank you and see everyone tomorrow.  Don't forget to register for the monthly giveaway!
Just send me a email and like my blog site and your name will be
entered into the drawing.  The books to choose from will be a Disney Mini Album, Baby Girl Album,
Baby Boy Album, or a School Album!

Good luck!
